While running BarkBox’s Customer Service and Social Good teams, I also managed the build and launch of two apps: BarkBuddy and BarkGood.

I started by studying animal rescue data and interviewing potential adopters to understand a key underlying problem: potential adopters find the adoption process difficult and depressing. Once the concepts for two apps were solidified, worked with design team to develop wireframes, reviewed with team and then managed build with iOS and Android engineers.

Created a community-powered launch and acquisition plan. BarkBuddy reached 150k downloads within the first3 months and was featured in the iTunes store the week it launched. The app received press from TechCrunch and Buzzfeed.
